Short answer. Hello Phase is a hormone and period tracker for Android, listed on Google Play as Hormone Tracker - Hello Phase. Tracking is free with no ads and no account, your cycle data stays on your phone, and the optional Plus subscription costs $39.99 a year or $12.99 a month in the US on Google Play.
What you get free
Hello Phase is free to download and free for everyday tracking, with no ads and no account. You can log your period, flow, one of eight moods, 16 symptoms and a note each day, and the free plan predicts your next three cycles, sends period reminders and shows an estimated estrogen and progesterone chart with a "you are here" marker.
Once you have logged 10 days or two full cycles, it shows your top symptom pattern each cycle, and you also get a short Daily Read with one small thing to try, three AI coach questions a week and a small home screen widget. You can export every logged day as a CSV file or a one-page PDF summary for free. Hello Phase is on Android only today, and there is no iPhone version yet.
What Plus adds
Hello Phase Plus is an optional subscription that costs $39.99 a year or $12.99 a month in the US on Google Play. It adds predictions twelve months ahead with a planner for trips and big days, every pattern found in your logs, a heads-up the day before your harder days, the full Daily Read and phase guide, all ten hormone articles, a doctor report PDF and a medium home screen widget.
| Plan | US price | First payment | Renewal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Nothing to pay | Not a subscription |
| Plus Yearly | $39.99 a year | New subscribers may see an introductory price of $0.99 for the first two weeks or the first month. The app shows which one applies to you before you pay. | Renews every year at $39.99 until you cancel |
| Plus Monthly | $12.99 a month | $12.99 | Renews every month at $12.99 until you cancel |
Prices differ from country to country, and Google Play shows the final price for your country on the payment sheet before you confirm. The introductory price is for people who have not subscribed to Hello Phase before, and once it ends the yearly plan continues at its regular price unless you cancel. The current version of the app does not offer a free trial. If you are on the monthly plan and switch to yearly inside the app, Google Play may show a lower price of $29.99 for your first year.

Billing and cancelling
Plus is sold through Google Play and charged to your Google account when you confirm, and we never see your card details. It renews automatically at the price shown until you cancel, so cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. To cancel, open the Google Play app, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and choose Hello Phase. Plus stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Refunds are decided by Google under its own policies, and we are not able to issue them ourselves. On a new phone with the same Google account, tap Restore purchases to bring Plus back, and because your logs live on the old phone, export a file there before you switch. If you bought Premium in an earlier version, it is the same subscription as Plus Yearly and keeps the price and renewal date you already have. The Terms of Use cover subscriptions in full.
Your data and privacy
Hello Phase has no account and no sign in, and your periods, check-ins, notes and patterns are stored on your phone. The Data safety section on Google Play says the app shares no data with third parties, and it lists some data types as collected, such as health and fitness and app activity, with data encrypted in transit and a way to ask for it to be deleted.
The optional AI coach sends your question and a short slice of your recent log only after you agree on a consent screen, and the app also sends a few small usage events, such as the app version and days since install, with no cycle data in them. There are no ads and no third-party trackers, and the Hello Phase privacy policy lists the few service providers that help run the coach.

Hello Phase FAQ
Is Hello Phase free?
Yes, period logging, predictions for your next three cycles, the calendar, reminders, the daily check-in, the hormone chart, a small home screen widget and data export are all free, with no ads. Hello Phase Plus is optional, and the pricing section above lists exactly what it adds.
How much does Hello Phase Plus cost?
In the US, Plus costs $39.99 a year or $12.99 a month on Google Play. New subscribers may see an introductory price of $0.99 for the first two weeks or the first month of the yearly plan, and prices in other countries differ.
Does Hello Phase work on iPhone?
No, Hello Phase is only on Android through Google Play for now, and there is no iPhone version in the App Store today.
How do I cancel Plus?
You cancel in Google Play, not in the app. Open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and choose Hello Phase. Plus stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and deleting the app does not cancel it.
Does Hello Phase track PMDD?
Yes, you can log the symptoms that often come with PMS and PMDD every day, including anxiety, sadness, irritability, mood swings, fatigue, brain fog, food cravings, bloating, breast tenderness, cramps and headaches, along with one of eight moods. The app looks for symptoms that keep showing up in the same part of your cycle, such as the last five days before your period. Symptoms are marked as present or not present with no severity scale, and Hello Phase does not diagnose PMDD, so please take your logs to a doctor if your symptoms feel severe.
Can I export my symptoms for my doctor?
Yes, anyone can export every logged day from Settings as a CSV file with the date, period, flow, mood, symptoms and note, or as a one-page PDF summary of cycles and averages. With Plus you can also share a doctor report PDF with your cycle table, your symptoms grouped by phase and your notes.
Does Hello Phase work with irregular cycles?
Yes, when your cycles vary, predictions show a likely range of dates that widens or narrows with how much your recent cycles have varied, and the app tells you how many cycles it has learned from. If pregnancy, giving birth or something else changes your cycle, you can pause predictions in Settings under Something changed.
How does Hello Phase predict my period?
It learns from the period start dates you log on your phone. Each new cycle counts a little more than older ones, and after every period the app shows how close its forecast was.
How is the hormone chart calculated?
It is estimated from your own cycle, not measured. Hello Phase places ovulation about 14 days before your next expected period and draws typical estrogen and progesterone curves for a cycle of your length, with a marker for today. No test strips or lab results are involved, so the chart shows a typical pattern for your cycle rather than your actual hormone levels.
Does Hello Phase suggest workouts or food by phase?
Yes, each phase has a guide with movement tips and foods for that phase, for example walking and gentle yoga during your period and the hardest workouts of the month around ovulation. The full food and movement sections are part of Plus, and free users see the phase intro and what is happening hormonally.
Do I need an account?
No, there is no sign up and no login, and your periods, check-ins, notes and patterns are stored on your phone and never uploaded to us. Because there is no cloud copy, export a file before you change phones.
Does Hello Phase sell or share my data?
No, we do not sell data or share it with data brokers, and the Data safety section on Google Play states that the app shares no data with third parties. The Privacy Policy lists the few service providers that help us run the coach and the Hello Phase website.
Does Hello Phase have ads?
No, there are no ads, no ad tracking and no third-party trackers in the app, on the free plan or on Plus.
What does the AI coach do, and what does it send?
The coach answers questions about your cycle and writes a weekly note, using Claude, an AI model from Anthropic. Only after you agree on a consent screen, each request sends your question, your cycle day and phase, your moods and symptoms from the last seven days, your birth year if you added it and a random code for your phone, and it never sends your name, email, full dates or location. Free users get three questions a week, Plus has a fair-use limit of 40 a day, and you can turn coach data sharing off in Settings whenever you like.
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings, Data, Delete all data, and every entry on your phone is wiped at once. Uninstalling the app does the same, and the few records on our server are tied only to a random code and clear themselves on a fixed schedule.
Is Hello Phase a contraceptive?
No, Hello Phase is not a contraceptive and it does not diagnose medical conditions, because it is made for tracking and learning about your cycle. The fertile window it shows is an estimate counted back from your next expected period, so please do not rely on it to prevent or plan a pregnancy.
What language is Hello Phase in?
Hello Phase is in English only for now.
If you still have a question, email [email protected] and we will reply within two working days.
